Overview

The Dhaka Centre for Dialogue (DCD) is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect the minimum personal data needed to respond to you, process a donation, or deliver a service, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Contact and form submissions (name, email, message), donation records (reference, amount, method), and newsletter subscriptions (email, with double opt-in). Confidential intake submissions are handled under a stricter regime - see our Child Safeguarding Policy and the Report a concern page.

How we use it

To reply to you, deliver services, issue receipts, and - only with your consent - send you our newsletter. Analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless, and only load after you accept.

Security and retention

We use encryption in transit and, for confidential intake, encryption at rest. We keep data only as long as necessary and delete it on a defined schedule. You may request access or deletion by contacting us.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details on our Contact page.

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand what is useful. Nothing is loaded until you choose. Learn more
